Back in September I was working on set  for  Robin Winter “Atlantic Records Video Production Coordinator” She needed someone from Toronto to take care of her client who just happened to be Platinum selling billboard artist SeanPaul. He was out here filming  his two upcoming singles.

The videos were “Hold My Hand” and “Now That I Got Your Love”  of the Imperial Blaze Album. Both videos were shot by Toronto’s own Director  ”X”  formally know as Little X.

My duties on set were to make sure that the production company “235 Films” provide everything Sean needs from  having his Ackee & Saltfish breakfast as soon as he appears on set from making sure that  the stylist don’t dress the dancers and the  lead girl in the video in something  to revealing for music station requirements. Which was real odd because I’m usually the one taking the orders for that not giving them.

On the second day Sean hit me up to come kick it with him and his family in his dressing room. We were talking about the music business and culture and how he has learned so much from traveling by seeing how other people live. He even gave me some good advice that I will take to the grave.  Then of course fashion came up he was telling me  how much he loves sun glasses and how he collects them.  His favourite brand is Chrome Hearts, that brand is the top frames brand out right now.  I’ll do a post on it soon to get you all up to date.  After he told me that I was like let me hook my man Tony ( the owner of  “GAFAS” ) up with Sean for some promo for his store maybe he will throw him a free pair. So I hit up tony he literally got there in like 10 minutes with three suitcases full of glasses totaling over 30k …. Sean was like a kid in a candy shop. He ended up buying a few pairs of chrome hearts and Dita’s. His bill came up to $ 6200.. Tony was was so grateful for his business so he gifted him these “Gold & Wood” glasses that  Elvis use to rock they were like $1600. DUMB FRESH!!!

After all the video Sean told me to ride with him  to go celebrate with him now that the videos were completed. We hit up lobby and balled like It was the 2003 playoffs! Bottles after bottles it was pretty crazy………..
